The Turkish delegation visited UrSU
On the initiative of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, a delegation headed by Hikmet Barutchugil, a representative of "Ebru" art, visited Urganch State University on September 3 of this year.
Hikmet Barutchugil and his 27 students were warmly welcomed by the university management led by UrSU Rector Bahrom Abdullayev.
Deans of relevant faculties of the university and art specialists took part in the meeting with the Turkish delegation.
Before the meeting, Rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev, giving information about the university, noted with pleasure that cooperation with Turkish higher education institutions is developing more and more. In turn, Hikmet Barutchugil gave a video presentation about the history of the origin of "Ebru" art. He also presented books on the art of marbling to the rector.
At the meeting, university students and professors were offered cooperation proposals on teaching "Ebru" art. At the end of the visit, UrSU rector B. Abdullayev presented souvenirs to the guests.
