Rector met with the delegation of International Islamic University of Malaysia
As we reported, from September 22 to October 1, 2023, a delegation consisting of 33 professors and students of the Faculty of Architecture of the International Islamic University of Malaysia will study the cultural heritage of our country, research unique examples of architecture, expand the tourism network and for the purpose of promotion, they conducted research in cooperation with the "Architecture" department of our university on the example of cultural heritage objects of the city of Khiva.
In particular, the operational condition of the historical monument "Juma Mosque" in the territory of Khiva "Ichan Qala" was studied. Now, a 3D model of "Juma Mosque" has been created with the help of modern scanner technologies, and the results of the scientific work are planned to be printed in the form of a 1-volume study guide in English and Uzbek languages.
Today, on September 29, the guests met with UrSU Rector B.Abdullayev. At the meeting, the rector spoke about the cooperation of Urganch State University with Malaysian universities, and expressed that our university is interested in strengthening cooperation with the International Islamic University of Malaysia. In turn, the guests expressed gratitude for the conditions and hospitality created during the two-week study.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed the future cooperation not only in architecture, but also in other fields, as well as the exchange of students and professors. At the end, gifts were distributed.
