A cultural event dedicated to Korean culture was held
On October 20 of this year, a solemn cultural event was organized in connection with the establishment of the newly opened Philology and Language Teaching: Korean language bachelor's course in the academic year 2023-2024.
University management, professors and teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Philology and students took part in the event. Representatives of the Korean National-Cultural Center in our region were guests.
At the beginning of the cultural event, those who spoke about the long-standing friendship between Uzbekistan and South Korea, the unique expression of religious tolerance and inter-ethnic harmony in our country, the commonality of national values, cooperation with Korean higher education institutions, and the interest of Uzbek students in learning the Korean language and culture.
After that, a cultural program dedicated to Korean culture was shown. Korean poetry and songs, stage performances, and dances were performed by the students of Korean language education.
Especially Korean national dishes, handicrafts exhibition, Chuseok - Korea's national harvest festival attracted everyone's attention.
