"Leader and youth meeting" was held at Urgench State University

On December 15, 2023, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Khorezm region, Colonel Ravshan Sultankhodjayev, and a group of Ministry of Internal Affairs officers visited the Urgench State University and openly communicated with university students within the framework of the "Leader and Youth Meeting".

In addition, the management of the university, professors and teachers, tutors and preventive inspectors of the university took part in this meeting under the leadership of UrSU Rector Bahrom Abdullayev.

At the meeting, which was organized in order to study the problems of students and young people, listen to their suggestions, freely communicate with them and give appropriate recommendations by the workers of the field, a video about how the lives of citizens who were injured by gas poisoning were saved was shown.

In a conversation with Colonel Ravshan Sultankhodjayev, head of Department of Internal Affairs of the Khorezm Region, various criminal cases, problematic and emergency situations that are encountered in our daily life were explained to the students with real examples, and young people were called to be aware. It was taught not to be indifferent to the situations around us.

Also, at the meeting, the students received answers to their questions related to the activities of the internal affairs bodies from the officials. In turn, they expressed their gratitude for their invaluable contribution to ensuring the peace and tranquility of our country.

During the meeting, S.Yomitboyeva, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology, and Kh.Zaripov, a teacher of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, as well as preventive inspectors of the city of Urganch, for providing close practical assistance to internal affairs bodies in the fight against crimes and ensuring the safety of citizens. Major M. Madrahimov and Captain T. Sayidov were presented with a letter of thanks from the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the rector of UrSU and souvenirs.

At the end of the meeting, it was discussed how to further strengthen cooperation between the Department of Internal Affairs and Urgench State University, and Colonel Ravshan Sultankhodzhayev made suggestions to hold competitions in various sports between the Department of Internal Affairs and students, to increase the number of meetings between the Department of Internal Affairs and students, and preventive measures.
