An artistic evening dedicated to the life and creative path of the well-known poet and journalist O'tkir Rahmat was held

Today, June 15, the faculty of Uzbek philology organized a literary evening dedicated to the poet's life and work on the occasion of the 76th birthday of the famous poet and journalist O'tkir Rahmat at Urgench State University.

O'tkir Rahmat was born on March 15, 1948 in Uzun village, Toyloq district, Samarkand region. He is a well-known poet, a skilled publicist, a distinguished journalist in Uzbekistan, and at the same time, he is considered the editor-in-chief of "Khalk sozi" and "Narodnoe slovo" newspapers.

At the artistic evening, a presentation on the life and creative path of O'tkir Rahmat prepared by the students of the Faculty of Applied Philology, Group 231, and beautiful dances were performed. During the literary evening, students had the opportunity to once again get to know the poet O'tkir Rahmat. In particular, the performance based on the epic "Trial" gave everyone a high mood.

At the end of the event, quiz questions were organized about the poet's work, and the students who actively participated in it were awarded with various prizes.
