A scientific conference was held to commemorate the centenary of the birth of Academician Anna Ivanovna Glushenkova

Today, a scientific-educational conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, and Academician Anna Ivanovna Glushenkova was held at Urgench State University. The event was organized on the initiative of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies and the Department of Chemistry under the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences.

The event was moderated by Sh. Kuramboyev, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies. A. Atamurotov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the university, opened the conference with an introductory speech, sharing his thoughts on the productive scientific career of Academician Anna Glushenkova, her immense contribution to the development of chemical science, and the current importance of studying and widely promoting her rich scientific heritage.

During the conference, the speaking professors, teachers, and scholars delivered presentations on Academician Anna Glushenkova's role in the progress of chemical science, her scientific research, as well as her merits in creating a strong scientific school.

As noted, the scientist's endless devotion to science, selfless hard work, and high responsibility toward scientific research serve as a worthy role model for today's young researchers.
