The Rector met with the staff of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies
Today, another meeting of Feruza Madrahimova, Rector of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni, was held with the staff of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sherzod Kurambayev, Dean of the Faculty, presented a report on the work carried out during the 2025/2026 academic year, the results achieved, as well as the priority tasks planned for the 2026/2027 academic year.
During the meeting, a number of tasks were identified to take the faculty’s activities to a new level, strengthen the integration of science and industry, and expand the establishment of “Spin-off” enterprises, align the educational process with practical training, improve the effectiveness of academic and methodological activities, widely involve foreign professors and teachers in the educational process and send faculty members abroad for internships, and improve academic curricula.
The participants also discussed further strengthening cooperation with the Khorezm Innovation Technopark under the university, more actively involving the faculty’s scholars in the activities of the Technopark, and developing dual education, as well as organizing students’ practical training at the Technopark and relevant enterprises in accordance with their fields of specialization.
In addition, issues related to the effective organization of student clubs, targeted support for talented students, increasing the number of scholarship recipients, and providing students with accommodation were considered. At the end of the meeting, relevant instructions were given to the responsible persons to ensure the implementation of the assigned tasks.
