The Rector Met with the Faculty of Psychology and Art Team
Today, Feruza Madrahimova, Rector of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, held another meeting with the team of the Faculty of Psychology and Art.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dean of the Faculty Dilfuza Khajiyeva presented a report on the work carried out and the results achieved during the 2025/2026 academic year, as well as the priority tasks planned for the 2026/2027 academic year.
During the meeting, issues related to the further development of the field of art and ensuring the integration of art and science, making effective use of the existing potential in the fields of fine arts and painting, establishing a gallery for artists, as well as service centers in the fields of psychology and art were discussed. Particular attention was paid to expanding “Spin-off” projects in these areas.
Priority tasks were also identified to improve the effectiveness of academic and methodological activities, publish textbooks and teaching materials, organize scientific conferences at a high level, and further develop dual education.
In addition, the meeting addressed the involvement of foreign professors and lecturers in the educational process, sending faculty members abroad for internships, integrating the curricula of prestigious higher education institutions ranked among the world’s TOP-300 universities into the educational process, and attracting foreign investment.
With regard to working with students, it was emphasized that greater attention should be paid to strengthening the activities of career guidance clubs, providing targeted support to talented students, expanding the pool of candidates for prestigious scholarships, and ensuring adequate accommodation for students.
At the end of the meeting, the proposals and initiatives of the faculty team were heard, and relevant instructions were given to those responsible for implementing the planned priorities and future tasks.
