The Rector met with the staff of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences

Today, Rector of Urgench State University Feruza Madrahimova met with the staff of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences in the afternoon.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Sanjarbek Sadullayev presented a report on the work carried out and results achieved during the 2025/2026 academic year, as well as the priority tasks planned for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The meeting addressed issues related to developing the activities of scientific laboratories, effectively utilizing research potential, establishing scientific schools, improving academic and methodological work, and developing and publishing textbooks and teaching manuals.

Particular attention was paid to attracting foreign professors and lecturers, sending faculty members for international internships, and integrating advanced educational programs of prestigious foreign higher education institutions ranked among the TOP 300 into the educational process.

The discussion also covered ensuring employment for graduates, organizing student internships, developing dual education, expanding the number of scholarship recipients, providing targeted support to students, and developing student clubs and extracurricular activities.

It was also announced by the Rector of Urgench State University that, starting from January next year, grants for research projects will be allocated to support university professors, lecturers, and researchers, further develop research activities, and implement innovative projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, responsible officials were given specific tasks and assignments based on the areas discussed.
