Rector of Urgench State University on an official visit to Xuzhou, China
The Rector of Abu Rayhan Biruni Urgench State University, Feruza Madrahimova, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Oybek Sotiboldiyev, and Head of the Department of Transport Systems Sherzod Yusupov are currently on an official visit to Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China.
Today, the university delegation visited XCMG, a major construction machinery manufacturer, where they learned about the equipment manufacturing process and the organization of practical training directly at production facilities within the framework of dual education.
During the visit, discussions are planned on increasing the number of students enrolled in the 2+1+1 joint educational program, launched in the new academic year in cooperation with Xuzhou University of Technology and XCMG, as well as expanding opportunities for their further participation in dual education.
Currently, 10 students from our university have already begun their studies at Xuzhou University of Technology under the joint educational program. Another 10 students are scheduled to join the university next month.
