The award ceremony of the high school students' memory tournament in mathematics was held

On June 5, 2021, Urgench state university hosted a Memory Tournament in Mathematics among secondary school students. The tournament was dedicated to the memory of Ismail Abdullayev, a mathematician, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor, who had been working at UrSU for many years.

It was attended by talented students from all schools of the region, who have a great interest in mathematics, and in the first half of the day solved the Olympic problems. In the afternoon, a literary and artistic evening and a ceremony of awarding the winners were held at the University Culture Hall.

The evening of this memory was attended by fellow friends, colleagues, family members of the teacher Ismail Abdullayev, professors and teachers of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty, as well as participants of the Olympiad.

At the beginning of the event, in memory of the teacher, his colleagues, including Professor of Uzbek Linguistics, Ph.D. Zaribboy Dosimov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Goyibnazar Sotipov, Professor of the National University of Uzbekistan, Dr. Sc. (Phys.-Math.) Bahodir Shoyimkulov, Professor Khushnut Babajonov, Honorary Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Sc. (Phys.-Math.) Sultanposhsha Masharipova and her student Ruzimboy Madrahimov spoke. They spoke very warm words and gave valuable information about Ismail Abdullayev, in particular, the exemplary life path, life and scientific activity of the teacher, his research, the traditions of teachers and students, his contribution to improving the quality and effectiveness of education in the community.

After that, the rector of UrSU Bahrom Abdullayev spoke and thanked all those present at the event, his sincere wishes. He announced the winners of the Olympics, urging students to study hard and become students of this school.

The results of the Olympiad were evaluated at levels A (grades 5-6), B (grades 7-8) and C (grades 10-11).

By level A (grades 5-6):

III place - Pulatov Zayniddin - 7-SSSS(Specialized state secondary school) of Khanqa district

By level B (grades 7-8):

I place - Egamberdiyev Maqsadbek - Bagat district 92-SBS(Specialized boarding school)

II place - Otaboyev Juratbek - 48- SBS of Khanka district

III places - Barganboyev Sherzodbek - 92nd SBS of Bagat district and Kamilova Dilnura - 2nd IMI of Bagat district

By level C (grades 10-11):

I place - Bozorboyev Javohir - Bagat district 92- SBS

II places - Nurjanov Navruzbek - 1st SBS of Koshkopir district and Ochilov Avazbek - School №1 of Koshkopir district

III place - Shokirov Shokirjon - 1st SBS of Hazarasp district

The young mathematician Matyokubov Boburjon, a 5th-grade student of the 3rd school of Bagat district, who scored the highest score in this tournament, was announced the winner of the Olympic Games.

All winners were awarded diplomas and souvenirs of the rector of the university, as well as letters of thanks to the teachers of the participants of the Olympiad by honorary teachers of the university.

The songs performed during the event gave the participants a special enthusiasm and a festive mood.
