Sports competitions were held on the occasion of the holiday
♟Today, on August 28, on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of our country, the trade union committee of UrSU organized chess, checkers, and table tennis sports competitions among university professors and employees. Professors and teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Literature also took part in these competitions and took pride of place. In particular, associate professor of the Russian language and literature department Djumaniyazova S.R. took the second place in the chess type of sport.
