Scientific-Theoretical Seminar
Today, a scientific-theoretical seminar on the topic “Gender Features of Slang in the Uzbek and English Languages” was held at Urgench State University.The speaker, Associate Professor of the Department of English Philology, PhD R. Y. Jumatoв, discussed the linguistic identity of masculinity and femininity, the gender features of slang units, as well as their comparative sociolinguistic aspects. During the presentation, a comparative analysis of the gender features of slang units in Uzbek and English was conducted, and the scientific and theoretical significance of the topic in modern linguistics was highlighted.
