A meeting of three generations was held at the Museum of Victims of Political Repression
On May 21, 2021, in the Museum "In memory of victims of political repression" at under the Urgench State University with the participation of veterans of the Armed Forces of the Khorezm region, military personnel, students in "Temurbeklar maktabi" and students of the 181st group of the Department of Archeology of the History Faculty, an event "Meeting of three generations" was held.
The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the associate professor of USU Sh. Nurullaeva and gave a lecture on the topic: "Their good deeds will not be forgotten."
The director of the museum E. Ruzmetov spoke about the activities of the museum and its creation. The chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Khorezm Regional Defense Department A. Dzhumaniyazov "A look into the past: the repressive policy of the Soviet regime", a soldier of the 53008 Urgench garrison U. Mamazhonov "Restoration of historical justice in the years of independence"made reports.
Serviceman J. Fayziev also shared his impressions of the museum.
At the end of the event, the museum staff introduced the guests to the museum exhibits.
