Congratulations of the Rector of Urgench State University B.I. Abdullayev on the occasion of "December 8 - Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan"
Our Constitution, adopted on December 8, 1992 at the XI session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the XII convocation, serves as a legal basis for building a democratic state and a free civil society in our country.
In twenty-nine years, Uzbekistan has been formed as an independent and sovereign state, has taken a worthy place in the world community, and has gone through a truly great path of development.
It is no coincidence that all our achievements on this difficult and honorable path are connected, first of all, with our Constitution. After all, our basic law has defined the guarantees of national independence and development, human rights and freedoms that our people have long dreamed of. The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a great example of the political and legal thinking of our people. It is a legitimate guarantee of a free and independent, peaceful and prosperous life, independent of anyone.
Honorable teachers, dear colleagues and students!
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely congratulate all of you on the 29th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. I wish you a long life, peace, family well-being and good luck in your future endeavors.
