The rector met with the team of the Faculty of Philology
Today, on December 26, Rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev, accompanied by Z. Ibragimov, Vice-rector for Research and Innovation, and R. Sharipov, Rector's adviser met with professors, teachers and tutors of the Faculty of Philology.
At the beginning of the meeting, the rector sincerely congratulated the faculty on the new year 2023. Unique achievements of the faculty, high-quality organization of spiritual and educational events, students' activity in national and international competitions were specially recognized.
The work done in the previous year, which is falling behind more and more, was discussed, and the tasks for the new year were determined. Appropriate tasks were given to increase the faculty's scientific potential, participate in and organize international conferences, organize high-quality education, and obtain a foreign language certificate.
At the end of the meeting, certificates of honor were awarded to a group of professors and teachers of the faculty for their effective work, dedication in teaching, teaching-methodical, scientific-research work during 2022.
For information: Currently, the Faculty of Philology has 3 departments and a total of 86 professors and teachers are working in them. The scientific potential of the faculty is 46%. In the last two years, 2 Doctor of Science (DSc) and 4 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees were defended.
