The rector's meetings with the professors and teachers of the university in the section of the faculties continue
Today, January 4, Rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev, accompanied by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Z.Ibragimov and Rector's Advisor R.Sharipov, met with the faculty team led by Dean of the Faculty of Economics I.Abdullayev.
At the beginning of the meeting, the rector noted the specific achievements of the faculty and recognized the professors and teachers who actively worked during the past year and contributed to the development of the faculty. Analyzing the team's scientific activities, he gave relevant tasks to further increase the publication of articles in international scientific journals, in particular, in prestigious journals belonging to the Scopus database, as well as to improve the quality of education and improve the foreign language skills of pedagogues.
For information, currently, the Faculty of Economics has 4 departments and a total of 67 professors and teachers are working in them. The scientific potential of the faculty is 35.8%. In the last two years, 1 Doctor of Science (DSc) and 25 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees were defended.
