Referendum-2023: Vote for your future!
The renewed Constitution is a vital necessity arising from the evolutionary development of the society of Uzbekistan, and this work is an extremely important issue for us to determine our next steps as a country, a nation and a people, a huge step towards building a just society.
On March 28 of this year at Urganch State University regarding the draft of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan" the next propaganda meeting was held under the slogan "Referendum-2023: Vote for your future!".
The Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis M. Ahmedova, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council of Uzbekistan National Revival Democratic Party A. Ibragimov, Deputy of the Urganch City Council of People's Deputies B. Djumaniyozov, Chairman of the Khorezm Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan T. Jumaniyozov and students from all faculties participated under the leadership of first Vice-Rector of UrSU S.Davletov professors and teachers of the university.
At the event, a detailed explanation of the new edition of our main law, the essence of the changes made to it, and the achievements achieved in the last six years, in particular, education, health, economy, human rights, social protection and other positive actions, were explained with examples and the scope of the reforms was acknowledged.
It was noted that the procedure for conducting the referendum, the participation of citizens in it, that this newly updated Constitution belongs to the people first, and that the guarantee of human dignity, honor, and rights is among the first issues. Explanations were given based on the presentations.
At the end of the event, students' opinions were heard and their questions were answered.
