A press conference was organized at Urganch State University on the topic "Newly opened courses and specialties and admission quotas in the higher education institution in the 2023-2024 academic year"

In order to fully respond to the appeals sent by the youth and their parents who wish to receive higher education, and to inform the general public about the organization of admission processes, changes and news of the 2023-2024 academic year at Urganch State University, on June 21 of this year, a press conference was held on "Newly opened courses and specializations and admission quotas in the higher education institution in the 2023-2024 academic year".
Journalists of Khorezm MTRK, a group of advanced bloggers of our region: Q. Eshchanov, editor of "Huquq va iste'molchi" newspaper and "Hurriyat.uz" online publication, K. Karimov, chief editor of "Khorazmbugun" online publication, F.Karimov editor-in-chief of "Khorazmliklar" online publication , students and tutors of the Faculties of Physics and Mathematics and Natural Sciences participated.
At the press conference, Rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev, Dean of the Faculty of Bioengineering and Food Safety, J.Ruzimov, Secretary of the Admissions Commission, J.Khojamov, Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, discussed the wide-scale reforms in higher education, including admissions in the new academic year. They gave detailed information about today's current issues, such as quotas, newly opened courses and specializations, the procedure for transferring studies, and the organization of creative exams.
The composition of the Admissions Committee for the admission of the 2023-2024 academic year at Urganch State University has been formed. In the building of the University's Faculty of Economics, a Counseling room was organized for applicants and their parents and provided with the necessary equipment. The Contact Center (Call center) operates in the established order to respond quickly to applications.
In the new 2023-2024 academic year, it is planned to enroll more than 3,000 applicants as students in 76 bachelor's (full-time) education courses and 33 bachelor's correspondence courses. 28 areas of undergraduate (full-time) education, 20 areas of part-time education, and 4 specialties at the master's level of education were newly opened.
