Preparations for the new academic year are underway
Today, R. Sharipov, adviser to the rector of UrSU, Sh. Allaberganov, head of the Youth Work, Spirituality and Enlightenment Department, and the staff of the Student Housing Coordinating Department inspected the student residences of the university in preparation for the new academic year. During the studies, assignments were given to the relevant responsible employees regarding the shortcomings.
Also, rental apartments in the area close to the university were studied in the company of neighborhood representatives and youth leaders, and the conditions to be created were agreed with the landlords. It was agreed to work with neighborhood activists and landlords to ensure that students settle in reliable rental locations, maintain order during their stay, behave in society, and prevent various crimes.
Note: today Urganch State University has a student accommodation complex with a capacity of 3100. Of these, 800 places are reserved for students admitted to the 1st year and young people in need of social protection. The remaining 2,300 places were allocated to students who applied online through the my.urdu.uz platform.
