A worthy gift for the holiday
Today is a double celebration at Urgench State University. Urgench State University is celebrating the 33rd anniversary of our independence with great pride. Because, today, on the eve of the holiday, the opening ceremony of the newly built sports complex was held. The complex consists of 6 fields for 5 sports at our university. Commissioning of the field was a gift for the university community.
This sports complex, built in order to attract students to sports and promote a healthy lifestyle, it includes 1 basketball, 1 volleyball, 2 badminton, 1 gymnastics and 1 handball fields.
Bakhrom Abdullayev, rector of Urgench State University, opened the ceremony with his opening speech, warmly congratulated everyone on the 33rd anniversary of our independence, and assured that the new sports field commissioned will serve the students of the university to achieve great victories in the world arenas in the future.
Also, at the event, a group of honorary professors and teachers who have been working at Urgench State University for many years, K.Navrozov, I.Baijonov, K.Khudoyberganov and M. Rahimov, spoke and sincerely congratulated the university team and students with the new sports facility.
At the end of the opening ceremony, the builders and engineers were duly awarded by the university management for contributing to the construction of the sports field as a modern, comfortable and specialized complex for various types of sports in the general area.
