The living conditions in the student dormitories were studied

On February 2 of the current year, under the leadership of the Acting Rector of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, S.Khodjaniyazov, and with the participation of the university administration and relevant officials, inspection activities were carried out in student dormitories No. 7–8.

During the visit, students’ living rooms, shared kitchens, and washing facilities were thoroughly inspected. Particular attention was paid to cleanliness in the rooms and common areas, the condition of existing facilities, as well as the functioning of hot water supply and heating systems. Special emphasis was placed on creating comfortable living conditions for students during the winter season.

In addition, explanations were provided regarding compliance with fire and technical safety regulations in the dormitories, proper use of electrical equipment, and adherence to safety precautions.

At the end of the inspection, the rector held a direct dialogue with students, listening to their daily concerns and suggestions. Based on the issues raised, relevant instructions were given to responsible officials. Students were urged to be more cautious during the winter season.
