New Uzbekistan students’ Olympiad
A ceremonial opening of the Republican Final Stage of the “New Uzbekistan students’ Olympiad” was held at the Olympic Village in Tashkent.
The opening ceremony was attended by Odil Abdurakhmanov, Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Sports, Kungirotboy Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Adham Ikramov, Minister of Sports, rectors of higher education institutions, and student-athletes from all regions of the country.
A total of 108 student-athletes from the Khorezm regional delegation, led by Feruza Madrakhimova, Rector of Urgench State University, arrived to participate in the Olympiad. Of these participants, 106 are students of Urgench State University, one is a student of Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, and one is a student of Urgench State Technical Institute.
Our Rector held an open dialogue with the students, encouraging and inspiring them to strive for victory.
We wish our student-athletes great success, outstanding results, and brilliant victories in the competitions ahead!
