The final stage of the international accreditation process was held at Urgench State University


On June 2–3 of this year, independent experts from Germany’s reputable ACQUIN international accreditation organization visited Urgench State University and carried out comprehensive review activities within the framework of international accreditation for the university’s 9 educational programs.

The review covered the fields and specialties of Economics (bachelor’s and master’s), Accounting (bachelor’s), Marketing (bachelor’s and master’s), Tourism and Hospitality (bachelor’s), Food Technology (bachelor’s and master’s), and Technology of Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products (bachelor’s).

A group of international experts from prestigious higher education institutions in Germany, Switzerland, Malta, Jordan, Turkey and the United Kingdom participated in the international accreditation process.

Today, the final meeting of this process was held online. During the meeting, international experts met with the university leadership and those responsible for the 9 educational programs, presenting their conclusions, objective analyses and specific recommendations based on the results of the review.

This international accreditation process is an important initiative aimed at further improving the quality of education at Urgench State University and strengthening the university’s reputation in the international arena.
