The rector met with the student-athletes
Today, as part of "Thursday — Youth Day," the Rector of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, Feruza Madrahimova, met with a group of student-athletes from the Faculty of Sports Activities.
During the meeting, the rector paid special attention to the role of sports in the comprehensive upbringing of youth, the importance of forming a healthy lifestyle, and the further development of sports at the university. It was also noted that the achievements of student-athletes at national and international competitions play an important role in enhancing the prestige of the university and demonstrating its potential in the field of sports.
During a sincere conversation, the rector encouraged young people to effectively use the available opportunities, improve their sports skills through constant research and training, participate worthily in prestigious international competitions, and achieve even higher results.
During the meeting, the problems, proposals, and initiatives of the students were heard, and relevant instructions were given to the responsible officials.
