Rector: your achievement is the achievement of our university

On May 29, 2021, a regular meeting of the Council of Urgench State University was held. The meeting was chaired by the rector of the university and was attended by members of the council.

The Council traditionally began its work with good news. Including: Rector of Urgench State University B. Abdullaev awarded letters of thanks to the University Sports Club, a group of professors and teachers of the Faculty of Physical Education, as well as student athletes for prizes at the 2020 Universiade, which was held among students of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In turn, a special award on behalf of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education was presented to the rector of USU, Dr. Sc. (Phys.-Math.) B. Abdullaev and Deputy Chairman of the "Sports Club", Professor of the Department of "Sports Activity" M. Rahimov for the active participation of the University in sports competitions "Universiade-2020".

In the 2020/2021 academic year, 10 talented USU students who have presidential and other prestigious scholarships were awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.

► Meet these students

On April 18, 2021, 5 students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics who took an active part in the online Olympiad in Mathematics among the universities of the Northern countries, held by the St. Petersburg National Research Institute of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO), were awarded diplomas 2 and 3 degree. They are:

Fayzullaev Bekzod, student of group 171 of the Applied Mathematics and Informatics direction, awarded a diploma of the II degree;

Karimov Hikmatjon, student of group 192 of the Mathematics direction, awarded with a diploma of the II degree;

Radjabov Rajabboy, student of the 181st group of the direction of Mathematics, was awarded a diploma of the II degree;

Ismoilov Islombek, student of group 193 of the Mathematics direction, awarded with a diploma of the III degree;

Yuldashev Bekzod, student of group 181 in the Mathematics direction, was awarded a diploma of the III degree.

Farkhodova Maftuna, a student of the French language department of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, took an active part in the international project "The Best Young Scientist of 2021" of the competition "The Youngest Scientist of the Year-2021", which was held in Kazakhstan in the city of Nur-Sultan, received a 1st degree diploma and was awarded a commendation a letter on behalf of the rector of the university.

The students' parents were also present at the award ceremony to share the joy of victory with their children. Speaking at the event, the parents expressed gratitude for the achievements of their children to the administration of the university and teachers.

At the event, teachers of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Rustambek Kurezov, Sabohat Sodikova, Himyat Ismailova were awarded certificates of obtaining the title of Ph.D.

Also, on the occasion of the 60th birthday of the Secretary of the Academic Council of Urgench State University, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor I. Atadzhanov, the rector of the university on behalf of the team presented memorable gifts and wished success in future activities.

The Council continued its work on the agenda items.
