Demo lesson

On May 13, an open lesson on the topic “World Foods” was conducted by Sapayeva Bibijon, a teacher of the Department of English Language and Literature, together with the students of group 2504-B. The main purpose of this open lesson was to develop students’ speaking competence in English, enrich their vocabulary, and broaden their cultural outlook through learning about national dishes of different countries.
During the lesson, the teacher provided scientifically grounded information related to the topic, including theoretical concepts, famous dishes from various countries, their preparation processes, and their distinctive features.
To ensure students’ active participation, interactive tasks were organized, such as question-and-answer activities, describing dishes, creating oral texts based on given words and expressions, and exchanging ideas in groups.
