Today, the final round of the "Book-Loving Student" competition took place. Organized by the Faculty of Philology and Arts, the event aims to foster a deeper love for books among students and promote a culture of reading among the youth. In the final stage, participants competed by demonstrating their knowledge of selected masterpieces from Uzbek and Russian literature. Specifically, in the Russian literature category, participants showcased their understanding and insights regarding works such as Ivan Bunin’s *The Life of Arseniev*, Fyodor Dostoevsky’s *Poor Folk*, and Mikhail Bulgakov’s *The Master and Margarita*. The jury evaluated the students' performances, and Oqilaxon Hayitboyeva, a student from group 223, was announced as the winner of the final round.
At the conclusion of the event, D. Gayipov, Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Arts, spoke about the importance of reading and the role of books in a person's spiritual life, acknowledging the students' achievements in this area. He then officially announced the winner of the "Book-Loving Student" competition and presented her with a well-deserved award.
