Respect for veteran mentors
Today, at the Khorezm Regional Administration, the "Veteran of Labor" badge was ceremoniously awarded to a group of elders who have earned the respect of the community through their many years of dedicated service, rich life experience, and significant contributions to societal progress. Regional Governor Jurabek Rakhimov attended the ceremony and presented this high honor to 56 deserving veterans from the region. Notably, among the recipients is Otanazar Choponov—an esteemed mentor at Urgench State University, Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, and Doctor of Philological Sciences. The fact that our mentors' long-standing, fruitful work in advancing science, training qualified professionals, and educating the younger generation has been recognized in such a distinguished manner holds special significance and is a source of great joy for our university community.
