The rector met with the team of the Faculty of Bioengineering and Food Safety

These days, UrSU Rector B.Abdullayev is holding meetings with professors and teachers of the university. The purpose of the meetings is to summarize the work done in the past 2022 on the example of each faculty, discuss the tasks to be performed in the new year, and give relevant instructions.

Today, on December 29, one such meeting was organized with the team of the Faculty of Bioengineering and Food Safety.

At the beginning of the meeting, the rector warmly congratulated the team on the coming New Year. Noting the special achievements of the faculty, he recognized the pedagogues who worked actively during the previous year.

After analyzing the work done in connection with the scientific activity of professors and teachers, relevant tasks were given to further increase the publication of articles in international scientific journals, in particular in prestigious journals belonging to the Scopus database, as well as to organize quality education and improve the foreign language skills of pedagogues.

At the end of the meeting, certificates of honor were awarded to a group of professors and teachers of the faculty for their effective work, dedication in teaching, and teaching-methodical, and scientific-research work during 2022.

For information, currently, the Faculty of Bioengineering and Food Safety has 3 departments and a total of 37 professors and teachers are working in them. The scientific potential of the faculty is 43%. In the last two years, 1 Doctor of Science (DSc) and 3 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees were defended.
