UrSU team takes part in a trip as part of the “Dolzarb 90 kun” project
A group of 50 professors, teachers, and staff members of Urgench State University traveled to Tashkent and Samarkand from August 9 to 13 as part of the “Dolzarb 90 kun” project under the slogan “Travel across New Uzbekistan!”
The participants first visited the center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent. There, they explored unique exhibits, historical sources, and modern displays reflecting the significant contribution of Islamic civilization to world civilization.
They then visited the state museum of the history of the Timurids, where they viewed historical sources, manuscripts, and examples of cultural heritage related to Amir Temur and the Timurid era. Through the museum’s exhibits, the participants gained a deeper understanding of the development of state administration, science, culture, and architecture during the Timurid period.
The next destination of the trip was the Imam Bukhari memorial complex in the Samarkand region. There, the participants learned about the invaluable scholarly and spiritual legacy of Imam Bukhari, a great thinker of the Islamic world, an eminent hadith scholar, and a leading authority in the science of hadith. They also viewed the extensive development work carried out at the complex and the facilities created for visitors and pilgrims.
Along with providing the team members with meaningful recreation, the trip also contributed to a deeper understanding of our country’s rich historical, cultural, and spiritual heritage.
