A meeting with the Chairperson of the Youth Parliament was held at Urgench State University


Today, Otabek Sobitov, Chairperson of the Youth Parliament of Uzbekistan, visited Urgench State University and met with the university’s active student youth.

At the beginning of the meeting, the participants discussed the priority areas of youth policy being implemented in Uzbekistan, ways to increase young people’s social and political engagement, and measures to support their initiatives and ideas. Active members of the Youth Parliament also took part in the dialogue and informed students about opportunities to actively participate in political and social processes and to promote their own proposals and initiatives.

The meeting was also attended by Sh. Atajonov, Head of the Organizational Department of the Khorezm Regional Council of O‘zLiDeP, who spoke about the party’s activities and membership procedures, as well as sharing his views on further increasing the participation of students and young people in public life.

During the meeting, a number of proposals were put forward, including the establishment of a “Youth Parliament Model” room at Urgench State University, transforming the university’s experience into a model project at the national level, as well as holding the “Young Politicians” Marathon and the Republican Youth Parliament Forum at the university.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants shared their views and proposals aimed at further improving youth policy. Letters of appreciation were presented to the visiting representatives on behalf of the university administration.
