A scientific-practical conference on "Development of the Uzbek language in the future" was held at Urgench State University.
On October 19, 2020, Urgench State University hosted a scientific-practical conference on the "Development of Uzbek language in the future" on the occasion of the "Day of the Uzbek language." Professors and students of the Faculty of Philology took an active part in the conference, which was organized in collaboration with the Khorezm regional administration, the Khorezm regional branch of the Writers' Union of the Republic. The conference was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology D. Gayipov. The rector of Urgench State University B.Abdullaev, who sincerely congratulated the audience on the 31st anniversary of our native language, opened the event with his speech. After that, the advisor to the governor of Khorezm region on Uzbek language docent R. Khudoiberganov gave a talk, and in his speech he talked about the reforms being carried out in the development of our language since the day when the Uzbek language was given the status of the state language. Shoira Shams, a member of the Khorezm regional branch of the Republican Writers' Union, recited poems glorifying our native language and examples of her work. The conference was also attended by S. Davletov, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs of UrSU, Head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature, Faculty of Philology, Associate Professor S. Matkarimova, Ph.D., Assoc. S.Ruzimboev, Ph.D., docent. Sh.Norbaeva, and they took turns to make reports.
The conference continued its work in branch meetings.
