#Scientific-practical conference
On November 20, 2020, Urgench State University hosted a republican online scientific-practical conference on "The role of investment in the socio-economic development of the region" in cooperation with the Research Center "Scientific Basis and Problems of Economic Development of Uzbekistan" under TSU.
The conference was attended by professors and teachers of a number of higher education institutions of the country. In particular, the head of the department of "Scientific basis and problems of economic development of Uzbekistan" at TSU professor A.M. Kadyrov "Ways of formation of economic policy in the conditions of decentralization of regional management", Prof. F.T. Egamberdiev "Foreign experience of state regulation of regional development", Professor of the Department of Economics of UrSU prof. B.Ruzmetov "Active regional investment policy is a source of integrated development of the region's economy", prof. T.D. Doschanov "The role and importance of social capital in the capitalization of human potential in the region", Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Economics i.f.d. I.S. Abdullayev spoke on topics such as "The importance of investment in the socio-economic development of the region."
Also, during the conference, opinions were expressed on the topic and relevant questions and answers were received. The conference was held through the ZOOM program.
